Nic Gorey is the founder of Flix, and a pioneer in the UK mobile internet business.

Following a psychology degree he qualified as an accountant while working for EMI where he became Head of Joint Venture Finance, managing the highly successful Now music brand. He moved within EMI, working in the corporate finance division and was involved in a wide range of transactions including the acquisition of the Virgin and Chrysalis music libraries. Following this latter transaction in 1997 he joined Chrysalis Media (the radio division) as financial controller.

Over the next two years radio activity revenues grew from £3 million to £45 million, much of it through acquisition. In this capacity he was involved in the integration of the acquired businesses.

In 1999 Nic moved to AON Consulting where, as Divisional Finance Director, he implemented a wide range of organisational change strategies which included working for British Airways and KPMG.

In 2002 he became Head of Leadership for Rath & Strong, the leading change management consultants.

In 2003 he left to found Flix, building it to its present position as leader in its sector.
